ByWater Institute Faculty Fellowships in Interdisciplinary Collaboration

The Tulane ByWater Institute seeks to support collaborative, interdisciplinary scholarship among Tulane University faculty by funding one-year fellowships. 

Award Amount: $10,000 to $25,000

Award Period: 1 year

Eligibility: All full-time Tulane University faculty are eligible (tenured, tenure-track, professors of practice, clinical and research faculty).

Program Description: Advancing interdisciplinary collaboration is a key academic initiative of Tulane University, central to the mission of the ByWater Institute. This faculty fellowship program is linked with other efforts on campus to promote creativity, scholarship, and productivity. The program aims to support work that addresses environmental problems—including those at the intersection of environment, society, and community—and that transcends traditional academic disciplines.  

The ByWater Institute is offering one-year fellowships to teams of Tulane University faculty in support of collaborative scholarship. Each team will work together during the funding period to develop and submit a research proposal for extramural funding.
