Likith Kadiyala is a Scientific Research Analyst II at Tulane University’s ByWater

Institute, where he builds scalable AI/ML systems for real-world environmental

decision-making. His work includes deploying multi-node LLM inference on HPC

clusters (SLURM + A100s) using vLLM serving, and developing emotion-

controllable LLM fine-tuning pipelines with DeepSpeed ZeRO-3. He previously

conducted applied AI research in hydrology and hazard mitigation at the

University of Iowa, including multi-agent stakeholder simulations and multimodal

AI for flood-related tasks.
