Ramteja Sajja

Dr. Ramteja Sajja is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the ByWater Institute, Tulane

University, where he works at the intersection of artificial intelligence, hydrology, environmental

decision-support, and STEM education. His research focuses on domain-specific and

multimodal large language models, AI-enabled educational systems, and immersive geospatial

technologies for water and environmental sciences. He has led and co-led several open-source

platforms and research initiatives, including Hydro3DJS, GIFIS, and HydroLLM, which are used

for scientific modeling, visualization, and workforce training. Dr. Sajja has published extensively

in high-impact journals and conferences and actively contributes to the research community as

a peer reviewer and editorial board member. His work aims to translate advanced AI research

into scalable, real-world solutions for environmental resilience and education.
