Yushiou Tsai
Yushio Tsai is an accomplished researcher with a Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Tufts University, specializing in hydrology. With expertise in Geographic Information System, data visualization, and hydrologic modeling, Yushio has successfully conducted two important projects. The first project focused on understanding conflicts over water resources in the Lower Mekong Basin and analyzing the impact of these conflicts on the availability of fish, energy, and food. The second project involved studying the decisions made by farmers regarding the adoption of practices that enhance water quality. Yushio conducted a longitudinal survey to collect data on farmers' characteristics, farm features, and social-psychological factors influencing their adoption behavior. This data was analyzed to predict farmers' adoption patterns.
